Two Breakfast/Holiday Staples

Hashbrown Casserole

1 package frozen hashbrown casseroles
1 8 oz container sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups cheddar cheese
Cornflakes
1 stick butter melted

Combine 1st 4 ingredients and put in a 9 x12 baking dish. Top with cornflakes and melted butter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Sausage Balls

1 lb sausage (Jimmy Dean in the tube)
2 cups Biscuik
10 oz shredded cheese

Put everything in a bowl and mix well. It's easiest to do with your hands. Roll into balls. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes (or browned well)

  1. Mmmmmmmmm ok so me and Baby Kee are craving some breakfast now! Thx Kelly! haha... I LOVE THAT YOU DID NOT INCLUDE ONIONS IN THE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE! I HATE onions and all the little old ladies at church ALWAYS put onions in it to ruin it! :) mmm
And, Sausage Balls are a family tradition me and mom have. We make them together EVERY Thanksgiving morning and Christmas morning. We always have a big breakfast before the BIG lunch/dinner for each holiday... so much for stickin to gainin only 25 lbs w/ baby kee! haha.... great recipes! :)

  2. I'm confused about the melted butter, because it says to combine first 5 ingredients, which includes melted butter, but then later the melted butter is supposed to go on top with the cornflakes. Please clarify, I would love to try this recipe!!!

  3. I fixed the recipe - sorry - that is what happens when you try to do something by memory and don't pay that much attention to it!

  4. I agree with Bekah, I loved that the recipe didn't have onions in it. Great dish! I made it for my mom's group Bible Study this morning and it was a huge hit. Thanks Kelly!

  6. I think you are just adorable. My favorite part of this recipe, apart from how delicious it is, is that the first ingredient in Hashbrown Casserole is "1 package frozen hashbrown casseroles."

It's so cute. Like, here's how to make a hashbrown casserole, just buy a frozen hashbrown casserole! I think you just meant to say frozen hashbrowns or hash browned potatoes? But oh is it funny the way you typed it. I hope you think it's funny too because I swear I'm not making fun or anything.

I just love you and your amazing and easy recipes. I'm making your Bunco Buns for a baby shower this weekend! So thank you! : )
