Meat Cupcakes


Meat Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS:3/4 LB. GROUND BEEF
1/2 C KETCHUP
1 T MUSTARD
2 T BROWN SUGAR
1 CAN BISCUITS
1/4 C SHREDDED CHEESE

DIRECTIONS:PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.BROWN THE BEEF AND DRAIN.MIX KETCHUP, MUSTARD, AND BROWN SUGAR TOGETHER TO MAKE A BARBECUE SAUCE.ADD THE SAUCE TO THE BEEF.SEPARATE DOUGH INTO BISCUITS.FORM DOUGH INTO CUPS ON THE MUFFIN TINS.SPOON THE MEAT INTO THE DOUGH CUPS.BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES(OR UNTIL THE BISCUIT DOUGH LOOKS DONE).SPRINKLE THE TOPS WITH CHEESE.AND DINNER IS SERVED!

This recipe blog is a good idea...I'm going to have to work on one, too. I tried these meat cupcakes after you posted them...we made a lowfat version. They were so yummy. Thanks for sharing!

Kelly, I found your blog through your comment on the LPM blog the other day. Is your blog more of a culmination of recipes you're finding online and reviewing? I only ask because I believe this one originated with another blogger (http://annaleeper.blogspot.com, and that the photo even belongs to her original post. Sometimes those blogger/copyright issues can be sometimes touchy, I'd hate for you to have anyone get upset about it! I find that when I review or tweak recipes, citing the original source is usually a safe bet. :)

My mom has been making these since I was a little kid. We cheat and use bottled bbq sauce. It's so yummy and fast.

We had these this week with glazed sweet potatoes & fried okra. We will definitely have them again!!
